Questions
What aspect ratio is 1920 × 1080?
16:9. Divide both numbers by their greatest common divisor, 120, and you get 16 and 9.
How do I keep the ratio when resizing?
Multiply the new width by the original height and divide by the original width. For 1920 × 1080 at a width of 1280, the height is 1280 × 1080 ÷ 1920 = 720.
Why do I get an odd ratio like 683:384?
Some sizes, such as 1366 × 768, are not an exact simple ratio. The tool shows the closest common ratio, here 16:9, next to the exact one.
