Questions
Will my photos be uploaded?
No. Resizing runs in your browser with the canvas API, so the photos never leave your device.
Does the output keep my file format?
Yes. JPG stays JPG at quality 0.92, PNG stays PNG (lossless) and WebP stays WebP at 0.92. Other formats such as GIF are saved as PNG, first frame only.
What does Keep proportions do?
With it on, leaving one side blank works out the other from the photo’s shape. With both sides filled in, the photo fits inside that box without distortion.
What are the fit options for presets?
Fit inside keeps the whole photo, so one side of the box may stay empty. Fit with padding adds a white border (PNG and WebP keep it transparent). Crop to fill cuts off the edges. Stretch fills the box and distorts the photo.
