QR code generator
Turn a link, text, email, phone number or SMS into a QR code you can download as PNG or SVG.
Runs on your device. Nothing is uploaded.Static code: it encodes your content directly, so it never expires and nothing tracks scans.
How it works
- Choose what the code opens, then type the link, text or details.
- Pick the colours, size and error correction if you need them.
- Download the PNG or SVG, or copy the image and paste it into a document.
Questions
Will this QR code expire?
No. A static code holds your link or text inside the pattern itself, so no service has to stay online for it to work. It only stops being useful if the page it points to is taken down.
Can I change the link after I print it?
No. The content is written into the pattern, so a printed static code cannot be edited. To change the destination, make a new code and print that one.
Does the generator track scans?
No. A static code opens its content directly, so there is no redirect server that could count scans. The generator never sees or stores what you type.
What do the error correction levels mean?
Higher levels keep the code readable when part of it is damaged or covered, at the cost of a denser pattern. M is a good default. Choose H if you plan to put a logo over the centre.
