Questions
Will the PDF be uploaded?
No. A PDF library in your browser draws each page. Nothing is sent to a server, and your original file is not changed.
Which resolution should I pick?
72 DPI gives the smallest files. 150 DPI suits screens and sharing. 300 DPI is the usual choice for printing, and its files are the largest.
Why was a page made smaller than I chose?
To protect memory, the longest side is kept at 8000 px or less, and the total at about 40 megapixels (less on phones and tablets). A note appears when a page is scaled down.
Can it open a protected PDF?
Not one that needs a password to open. Open it in a PDF reader, save a copy without protection, and drop that copy here.
