How to split a PDF

- Choose the pages: tap them on the grid, or type ranges such as 1-3, 5, 8-10.
- Pick a mode and download the new PDF, or a ZIP when there are several.
Questions
Will the PDF be uploaded?
No. A PDF library in your browser makes the new files. Your original is not changed, and nothing is sent to a server.
What does the range box accept?
Single pages and ranges separated by commas, like 1-3, 5, 8-10. Page numbers past the last page are ignored, and a typo shows a message instead of guessing.
Why do I sometimes get a ZIP?
When one PDF becomes several, they are packed into a ZIP so you download a single file. Extracting selected pages on its own gives one PDF.
Does splitting keep the text searchable?
Yes. Pages are copied rather than redrawn, so the selectable text on them stays as it was.
