What does Auto fix do?
It stretches the photo’s tones so the darkest parts become nearly black and the brightest nearly white, then lifts the midtones if the picture is still dark. You can fine-tune the result with the sliders.
Can it rescue a very dark photo?
It can bring back detail that is there but dark. Areas that are pure black hold no detail, and brightening them a lot shows grain. A photo taken with more light will always look better.
Does it keep the full resolution?
Yes. The preview is smaller so the sliders stay quick, but the download is made at the photo’s full size, unless the photo is larger than your device can process, in which case it is scaled down to fit.
Is my photo uploaded?
No. The photo is adjusted by your browser. Nothing leaves your device.
