Questions

How many touches does the test count?

It counts every touch point the page receives at the same time and keeps the highest figure as “most at once”. Screens differ in how many touches they can track together, and this test can only count what the browser passes on.

Why do some squares stay grey?

A grey square never received a touch. Try it again with a fingertip, and check the edges and corners too, because cracks, a loose screen protector or a damaged touch layer can leave dead areas. If the same spot always fails, the screen may need a repair.

Why do pressure and contact size show a dash?

They appear only when the device reports them. A mouse does not report them, and many touch screens report no pressure at all. A value that never changes usually means the screen does not measure pressure.

Is anything recorded?

No. Touches are read and drawn on this page only. Nothing is stored or sent.
