Questions
Will my screenshot be uploaded?
No. The image stays in your browser. Copying and downloading both happen on your device.
Why are the boxes solid instead of blurred?
Solid boxes replace the pixels underneath. Blurred or pixelated text can sometimes be recovered, so this tool only draws solid boxes.
Is the metadata removed too?
Yes. The result is a new PNG drawn from the picture, so camera and location tags from the original file are not carried over.
Does Copy work in every browser?
Copying an image needs clipboard access. If your browser does not allow it, use Download PNG instead.
